Associates were established in 1988, and are based in Central Blackpool and
have another office in Preston. The aim of the practice is to provide a high
quality, efficient and professional service in the field of civil and structural
design.
The Engineering and Technical staff are fully qualified and have extensive experience
in all areas of civil engineering and building construction. Our scope of work
extends from Structural Engineering reports on domestic properties to the Civil
and Structural design of new build and refurbishment projects in excess of £5
million. Currently, our design experience includes specialist foundation design,
reinforced concrete design and detailing, masonry structures, bridge works and
structural timber design.
We have undertaken the design for numerous specialist foundation schemes involving
underpinning of buildings, offices, leisure outlets and hotels. We have completed
the design of road and foot bridges and bases for heavy rotating machinery.
Within the office we have experience in the design tent and space frame structures
to withstand seismic loadings. We have full CAD design and drawing facilities
that are able to link up with specialist used industry standard software together
with e-mail facilities. The scope of our design services include full Civil
and Structural design and can include supervision projects from feasibility
to handover including setting out and initial survey work when required.
